Seems not enough people have seen the wreckage....

Featured Replies

... Following a brief conversation at Weston it seems not that many people have seen the leftovers of furby mk1, so I figured I'd put a little gallery together... I hope that these pics show just how damn tough these little cars are. I went over twice after using a Welsh bank as a ramp. I came out unscathed, and the car held together saving my life (as did my seatbelt! WEAR ONE!)

Enjoy the little story

Picking it up from North Wales.

Damn those Jet washes are powerful up in North Wales. :D

Dropping it off at its new home for a year or so

How it looked after about a year of me gently taking it to bits

And finally how it looked when I finally put the chassis beyond all hope of "repair"

He's now on mk2. This time with even more power :D

Did you have to pay them extra to take it away under cover of darkness? :trminatr:;)

After all that you and the car went through, I'd have thought nothing less than a marching band would do.

:cool2: :rock_band

This car was smashed up in January 2004 - long time now, and have had mk2 for 20 months or so - and yep, with even more power now. I just know to take it a little easier now.

No comment. :) I don't believe it was 100% to blame on the car anyway. ;) Another reason why I've been doing trackdays to learn how far the car can be pushed, and also why I'm doing an I.A.M course within a couple of months.

I've just started doing the RoSPA version - hopefully this will stop my car(s) suffering like yours did (Furby would be OK in the sense I think I would walk away - but in my ZS - ouch)

But whatever you are doing good luck.

Pitty I didn't have a pic of the Nissan that hit my Furbie Mk2 back in March last year (I'm on Furbie Mk 3 now). My Furbie had a little cosmetic damage, the Nissan was a write Off..

Shows how strong Furbies are though.

Damn!!! Never really seen the pictures before, just the 100+ comments about being on the roof. :P

Where abouts in North Wales did you do that?

but in my ZS - ouch

Mine stood up very well when I ran it into a dry stone wall. Pretty much only panel damage occured. Not quite sure how it would fair going over on it's roof a couple of times though.

Would it just not be easier and cheaper to drive slower?

Horseshoe Pass - Can't remember the name of the actual A road - was just outside Llangollen.
