CCM Fault?

Featured Replies

Hi, a few weeks ago ive noticed that 2 of my doors no longer open or lock with the central locking on my mk1 octy tdi. My interior (celing) light also does not work.

Read up about this online and the faults suggest a comfort convenience module fault.

However, i am confused as i have seen a module under the dash listed as the ccm but have also read about one in the drivers door connected to the window regulator?

Does anyone know which one is correct?

Thanks

the ccm is under the dash

however the faults you are having can also be caused by the drivers door regulator as everything is wired through there

a check if your ccm is ok is to press the locking doors button on the drivers door - if it causes your working doors to lock I'd suggest problem is either with drivers door regulator or door wiring
