Another TSI engine failure - Posted on Skoda Facebook page

Featured Replies

Yet another VAG engine design fault.

I am less bothered by the engine having a defect than I am by VAG not taking responsibility, further pretending there is no problem and thereby avoiding their legal obligations. I cannot distinguish that from fraud.

Agreed, the next step we're pursuing is legal action.

I am in the same position (well my brother is) TSI VRS with full skoda history, 68k miles chain slipped! Stuck with the risk of high garage bills and quite frankly its disgusting that a few seconds research reveals an epidemic problem. This is just not good enough

Am worried now as thinking of going from an 06 vrs to a 2010 vrs,car has full history but obviously this means nothing :(
