Evening all,

The battery light on my fabia VRS keeps coming on for a few seconds, then going out when you add load to it (ie lights on, turning the wheel)

Any ideas?

+1  strip and clean  or better still fit new brushes

Sorry it's a very late reply! It turned out to be the alternator load wire. We had repaired it previously, but it had been disturbed whilst carrying out other work.
