Just ordered a vrs tdi.

Featured Replies

Well it seems as though after 7 years we will have another skoda in the household, just ordered a primer grey vrs tdi for the wife, I quite leke the way it looks though I would have prefered the petrol if it were mine, though it seems to be just about adequate in the performance stakes. What is the real world mpg of these?

I've got a vRS TDI manual with 19" xtremes and going to and from work on A roads 50-55 MPG all day long on a long trip driving normally 55-60MPG and a lot less when I'm having fun

Lowest mpg for a tank I've had is 48.7mpg, best I've had for a tank is 58mpg, usually get 53.5mpg

She should be pleased with that, I'm quite impressed with the styling and interior too!!

Much better mpg return than my tsi vrs!

Probably at least double the mpg of my car.....

Plenty quick enough, particularly in the mid range and will work out alot more efficient real world than a TSI.....we all know what is the nicer powerplant push come to shove.....but whether Id be prepared to live with late 20/early 30 mpg for a car that isnt in reality light years faster....I dont think I would myself.

A remapped TSI Id probably put up with though!!

You wont regret it, i would use hire cars for 4 days 6/7 times a year, and tbh getting back in my old 1.9tdi mk2 i used to immediatley notice the seats were poor, too high, the interior was inferior the noise was not refined etc etc...

I had the 180 merc diesel this time over the water, and i got to say i was counting the days till i got back in my vrs. Night and day. Dont get me started on the merc rattles (new car, 500 miles) or the poor visabilty.

This new vrs tdi is simply a superb car.
