Chips away?

Featured Replies

By a coincidence, minutes after realising someone had hit our car, a chips away guy was walking past who quoted to smooth and paint the front half of the bumper would be £100 + VAT which on the face of it seems pretty decent to me.

I realise it's a franchise but anyone with any comments on them?

Cheers,

Dan

Like you say they're a franchise, so the quality of the work is down to the individual operator.  Having said that we've had work done by them in the past and it's been quick, easy and convenient.  The results were good, but for something like the scuff you've got a decent bodyshop should be able to do a better job and probably not be to much more expensive.  The downside would be abodyshop would need your car for a couple of days.
