Is this Mk3 or Mk2 FL?

And silly question but is it black or grey?

Thanks

Mk3 I believe. As the MK2 Pre Fl are the same as the Fl except for the VRS logo

Cheers :)

Any idea on the colour? I know that seems a silly question, but can't see from the pic if they're grey or black.

Thanks :)

I'm thinking of changing my front seats, but only want to do it if I can get something that matches reasonably well for the rear.

Thinking A3 or A6 S Lines in black with these in the back.

Unless the A3/6 will fit the rear?

I don't know if the rears will fit but the fronts do. But have the sline logo

The insert is grey rather than white. On the Mk3 you get the option of red or grey inserts.

These will fit, but they require a lot of work including stripping and swapping the bases

So the back more or less goes straight in?

And the base cover needs swapping with a bit of extra foam?

Possibly better off trying to find a Mk2 FL rear.

Search a little here on brisskoda.

I have seen pictures of the job done.

You need to use the inside of the old seats in the back. As I recall.

Cheers, remember seeing that though.

Have they improved the Mk3 seats for comfort?

I love the car but the seats are causing a massive problem. I spend nearly 2 hours a day in it and my back is feeling it.

Don't t know.

I drive nearly 4 hours a day en my Octavia 2 2013. And I have no problems.

Bad seats were why I got rid of my Octavia 2 and judging by the number of seat swap threads I read on here before I swapped to something else, it looks like its a common complaint.

It's such a shame. I really don't want to get rid of it, I've only just got it.

I'm seriously considering taking a punt on some A3 S Line / S3 seats and then doing something to the rears to match. My other half is comfy in it, I think I'm just an awkward shape. They are initially comfy for the first 10-15 minutes then the base of my back starts to feel it.
