If you own/have a Fabia MKIII with Auto lights can you tell me please if you have a setting in the Car Menu on the Radio, Under Lights

So you can set the Lights to come on  " Early/Medium/Late "

Thanks

AG

I have the early/medium/late in my Fabia. Picked up today, produced week 28

Have no idea. I know because my dealer has informed me under the whole prossess. I think the difference is if there are a MY15 or MY16. All cars produced after week 22 are MY16

Checked today. Better late than never.

Elegance, probably equal to SEL, Bolero noise-thingee in the middle, and do have settings for early, mid and late.

Hey,

You only have this option if your car also has a rain sensor.

Otherwise, it is something which has been set at the factory.

Thanks for the information, Intresting ?  Wonder if a VCDS might make the lights come on a bit earlier

Yes, it can be done. - I have seen/done it myself.

I later retrofitted orginal rain sensor. Therefore I know for sure that the function you are looking for is active when the car has both Autolight and rain sensor.

That seems to answer the problem that I was having - the auto-wipers on mine were slow to come on. In response to Auric Goldfinger's query - I set the Headlight response from Late to Early -- now the wipers seem to respond to rain much more quickly !!

Yes - that's what I said !

Strange  - but seems to be an interaction there.
