I have some MK1 Octavia Elegance 5 spoke wheels in good order wrapped with Winter tyres with around 5mm tread.

 

I am after some track day wheels in good order with decent tyres.

I'm not interested in your winters but in the coming weeks I'll have some 17" blue spiders with Dunlop SP Sport tyres 205/40/17 £200.

Paint isn't the best as I've used them for track, but all straight and true.

Whats the tread like on them?

Without being near them to measure I'd say a good 4-5mm

What tyres did you use on track? Are you going to Combe?

Pictured are Federal RS-R which are being transferred to my recently bought Team Dynamics Pro Race wheels for track.

I've used some heavily worn Yokohama Parada spec 2's on track before, as well as Toyo proxes 4's.

The dunlops would be fine for a few sessions at Combe and yes, I'm going.
