My 2.0Tdi Superb was remaped couple weeks ago. I have to say that I´m verry happy with result. 

Specially in higer RPM:s engine will run more freely.

 

I haven´t yet go in to dyno, but guy who do the remaping said that based on VCDS values are 200hp/430nm.

Stock power was 170hp/350nm.

 

Earlyer in this year I took one standing mile run in one local event. Final speed was 182km/h. Will see what speed will be in next try.

 

Have anyone else has their CR diesels remapped? Any comments about that?

A quick search highlights a few threads with thoughts and action on remaps for diesel units.

201.5 bhp and 415 Nm, on the rolling road. The car drives almost exactly as before, it just pushes harder. Very noticeable over 2500 rpm. I'm not sure on fuel economy yet, but if the readout on the dashboard is correct (Which it should be since the fuel map was edited within the ECU), the car is a little easier on fuel too. I do a number of longish drives every week on the same road with the same traffic conditions, so I'll see over the next while whether the improvement in economy is genuine.

Been trying to decide on this recently myself, prices and reputations vary so much :-(

Had both the Superb and Yeti done by Shark, they make such a difference to the way they drive (and if you are quick they have 25% off until the end of August)

I had my 140 4x4 done as it was quite flat , much improved ,much more pull at lower revs in the torque department. Before I found I was sometimes flat out accelerating on a slip road for instance, now it just has bags more usable power. Makes it far more easy to drive

I had my Yeti mapped by a mobile mapping service, and got a perfect Shark Performance map.

Suggest you check if there are any mobile mapping sevices in Northern Ireland.
