This is what the MKII should have been.

Lovely. What phones are you connecting to the smartlink?

Have unfortunately not tried any phones yet, I have Iphone6 so will try tomorrow.

Very nice!

Any chance of some side profile pics?

Would be interested to see how it looks with the sports suspension and 17s.

Planning to order mine tomorrow (Monte Carlo) with both.

I can upload one tomorrow, have to take a picture first.

Really nice. Front of the Fabia beats Audi on the looks/design aspect. Best compliment one of my neighbours paid me after glancing at my white Mk3 hatch.. "Oh, I thought it was an Audi A1"..

Here is a pic from the side. As you see its much higher at the back. Has maybe something to do with the loading capacity at the boot or..... Most likely I will think it will get a bit lower when the car is driven in more. d6a7ad5a3d6cd5a52dee87d29754b30b.jpg

Looks good. As you say, still pretty high at the rear. Front wheel sits nicely in the arch though. What are your early impressions of the ride quality and handling compared to one with 16" wheels and standard suspension?

Has anyone else noticed how crisp the folds are in the panel work of the Fabia? The shoulder line, creases at the bottom of the doors and all the door reveals have got really tight folds - really helps the chiselled looks.

To be honest I dont feels like its any stiffer or more uncomfortable than the demo car I tried with 16" and standard suspension. Its quite comfy actually with my setup.

Looks sweet! I've got some CREE LEDs on the way for the H8 fogs and already have a HID H7 kit for the dips.

Did you need a resister harness for the fogs or where the canbus friendly LEDs error free and good on their own?

  • Author

I had to use resistors, tried without at first. Bought them at eBay, and the seller said it would be error free for about 80% of all new cars with canbus.

Do you have any pictures of the car with the HID kit?

I'll try and go somewhere enclosed and upload a photo tonight

I've ordered mine from Horizon LED and these are the official CREEs from the US so hopefully they won't plug up errors but I'm thinking I should order the resistors anyway...

Let me now. And what type at Horizon you bought if there are no errors. Had been great without using resistor...

So I picked up the Cree 45W Cone LEDs which supposedley project the light further and more like halogens (for cornering). Can't see much of a difference though. But best thing... They are error free! http://www.horizonleds.co.uk/cree-leds/fog-light-cree-led-bulbs/h8-cree-led/h8-reflective-cone-led-45w
