A virgin Briskoda posting for the 2nd time

so please be gentle with me

Just bought the misses a L&K Diesel estate brand new for 14K 2600 off list price and it is a great car was orignally going for a passat/A4 but with all the extras jumping up to 22K++

i turned to skoda and was impressed

we have just had it a month and i love it as much as the misses !!

and the best part is 55-60 to the gallon

my other transport is a scooby turbo of course and have noticed some owners are moving to RS octavias

would i feel a great difference in performance/handling and what is the best modle to go for

RS

4+4

130BHP diesel chipped?

1.8 turbo L&K

would appreciate some advice please

thanks

you cannot argue with the vfm / running costs compared with a scoob... but there are downsides

1, you get to visit your dealer less..

2, people get offended when u leather them

3, the really fast ones dont have 4x4 ( some of the quite fast ones do... dont they denis/colin/ian/stuart)

4, modding can be more "fun" as we are still at the suck it and see stage rather than the "done it before" stage that scoobs are at..

5, some still laugh at the badge.. assuming they get close enuf to read it.

Just done the Cannonball in a 4x4 Octy, Whipped a Ferrari 348 on a bendy dual carriageway Took a few Porshes Oh & a couple of Scoobs, 3000 miles in 4 days, only problem 2 out of shape wheels so yes you can change from a Scoob to a Skoda & have loads of fun at less expense.

We tried the Cannonball last year in a STI3 & it broke down

Ring me on 07799 623693 if you want to chat

& yes we have an L&K Diesel also - agree stunning car !!!
