Hello all, just joined the site but have been following and reading a number of the entries over the last few weeks. So much info, so much help in just reading the numerous posts. I'm In progress of processing an order for new VRs Diesel Hatch (Company Leasing).  Sadly, I can't stretch to the Petrolhead version (something to do with CO2!!), that I'd love, but really happy with the Diesel.  Due to financial limit placed on ordering (another bit of a bu**er!!), I can't stretch to metallic with some of the additional "toys" that I'd like.  So, chucked everything up in the air and opted for Candy White, Black Design Pack, Heated Washer Nozzles, SmartLink, Heating/Dimming/Folding Door Mirrors and last but not least the Canton Sound System  as I've read lots about the "bulk standard" system being either bit of a let down and needing a bit of an "oomph" to get any half decent music out, kind of also equates to listening to the std radio in the test car I had a month or so back.  I did look at other options such as Heated Seats (on current vehicle) Colour Maxi Dot and so on, but felt that I needed to stop writing a shopping list purely for the sake of it (gizmos and all that jazz) and concentrate solely on the items needed. 

 

The Mk3 seems to be a good success, however, the downside being is that prices will continue to rise. Skoda is becoming a victim of its own success. Dealerships also seem to be lacking in awareness or knowledge, whilst I'm sure there are some very good one's out their, some of my local dealers have been near on pretty useless.  Skoda prides itself on customer service, think it needs to get its message down the line to the coal face so to speak.  Anyways enough of that and what a fab site :clap:
