sticky calipers - warranty repair?

Featured Replies

I have a 2012 CR VRS, and every morning it sounds like the rear offside caliper is sticking/grinding. By the time i get to work its fine, but then when i leave work again I'm in the same boat again.

As the car is under warranty until October, I was wondering if this would be considered as a warranty repair or something i would be paying for. I guess the way I see it is that the manufactured part is faulty as the pistons aren't returning into the caliper but I never seem to get a dealership to agree with me on anything when the word warranty is mentioned.

Phone the dealer. Say you've got this horrible noise and you think that something very expensive (for them) is about to go wrong, and can they have a look please.
