Battery symbol in Bolero screen

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the battery symbol in the Bolero screen refers to? I may have missed it but can't see any reference to it in the manual.

Phone wasn't connected although it was in my pocket. Does it do it by bluetooth?

Thanks for your help guys so that's another mystery solved. It's probably lurking in the manual somewhere but I haven't found the Skoda manuals particularly user-friendly.

And before you ask:  :p

The "stairs" to the right of the battery symbol is the signal strength for the connected phone

Thanks the_raz, I thought it was because 'stairway to heaven' was playing when I took the photo.

Lol, nice one ;-)

Progress eh?  I was out in my wife's new Polo SEL today - her iphone had been coupled to the car when we picked up the car on Wednesday, I just happened to have my iphone (has not be coupled to car yet) with me, I noticed that battery symbol as well, that it was indicating the car battery charge level, seems I was wrong, and, when I got out of the car when back home, the infotation thing had a message on it saying "remember to take your phone" - well fancy that!

One other thing, this Polo has front and rear parking sensors, my S4 just has rear parking sensors, I have never had the sensors warning me in the S4 while in traffic, but today when a turd in a Nissan Squish Squash was behind me in a traffic queue, the warnings system kept alarming and when looking in the rear mirror he was extremely close - why are some people complete turds? They always tend to push the smaller cars about it seems.

Surprised him being close activated the rear sensors. Thought they only came to life once reverse was selected.

Well I was in neutral, probably foot on brake and engine had shut down, a bit alarming really as he kept well within my "ouch" zone as we moved forward car by car at each change of the lights.

Further to that, as you've mentioned "in reverse only", while in neutral, after reversing out of garage yesterday, as wife moved back towards the car after closing the garage door, the front sensors got a bit annoyed! (sorry front sensors that time!)

All sensors are activated by selecting reverse.

They all remain active until a certain speed threshold is reached.

I'm surprised your rear sensors are active in a traffic queue, but do recall reading on here from someone who had a similar issues a year or so ago.
