White worm on wheel centres

Featured Replies

Have other members had white discolouration of their wheel centres and have you been able to get them changed under warranty?

Also, will the replacements also discolour after a couple of years and 36,000 miles?

Maybe the 'new logo' chrome ones are better......

Yes,  yes,  yes,  and yes!

And yes. I had my badges done, but they say only a one of on warranty, so if it happens again I will have to pay.

So I sealed them in with sealent seems to have done the trick, only the front bagde is showing signs of going again.  (Old design)

if it happens again I will have to pay.

Customers paying to advertise manufactures. Isn't it ridiculous?

I also found traces of the white worm recently... :(

I got all 6 badges changed for free on warranty.

If you ever need to change again the wheel centres were available on fleabay.

Thanx for replies, thought I was being too particular but I love my Yeti.

As I have previously posted, the front and rear badges on my Fabia had 'made in Italy' on the reverse - need we say more?

Also, the only other 'problem' I've had was one rear door transparent foil was also discoloured at a bottom corner.

One of the main reasons I bought a Yeti, apart from the dynamic and practical ones, was the reliability which has been 100%. Dealer has been exemplary.

And yes. I had my badges done, but they say only a one of on warranty, so if it happens again I will have to pay.

My Yeti is on it's 3rd rear badge - replaced twice under warranty.

I've also had the wheel centre badges replaced, but just once so far.
