That`s cool, did`nt know these existed, never seen one before.

Think the 'official' VRS's came out on a 51 reg. Maybe wrong, although I was after one when they first came out and I remember the 51 reg being the first ones my local dealer had.

Saying that, I'm sure I've seen a Y plate before....

Officially they came out on Y- plates but this X-plate must of been skoda's pre-release demo

That would be the one you would want to own then.....

I imagine its rarer than the WRC version

Didn't know there were any on an X plate. Is that the only one?

Road tax would be a little bit cheaper on it. :)

Could be the only one yeh, thats what i'm trying to find out :)

Howmanyleft says 366 licensed, 47 sorn for 2001 registrations. IIRC the new style plates came in in the September so there can't be many on x plates but think there's more than one. Pretty sure I've seen at least two, both red, but no idea if this one...

Didnt Skoda apparently jazz up the Y plate one given to a magazine in the form of a remap? :)
