Have a look at this.. you'll note Skoda are listed on page 6.  No mention yet of Fabia mk3 officially, probably because the research was was done a couple of years ago and injunction by the manufacturers delayed this document being published.. but it does make for worrying reading, because I very much doubt Skoda have done anything to help combat the issue of your car being taken by miscreants..

there should be a recall at some point in the near future to resolve this.. my advice is to put pressure on Skoda.. we are all affected!

Yes I've read all of that and commented in that section.. you'll note that I have managed to stop people hacking Smartgate by putting a password in with characters that are not liked by the system.  Therefore putting it into an infinite loop when trying to connect to it.. stops me connecting and stops the hackers.. :)
