I wouldn`t touch it with a barge pole, put some in my RS Turbo years ago and very shortly after the turbo went, I`m convinced it blocked the oil feed. Plenty of stuff on the internet slating it

Yep turbos are pretty hard on engine oil, especially if you rag 'em just before you turn the engine off and all the heat soak goes into a little bit of oil that is no longer pumped round.

 

Always tended to be really careful what I put into a turbo car

 

Still say gearbox oil works well in an A series though  :sun:
