Interesting comments from an industry observer: Are there others failing us???

Customer expectations have also notably changed , certainly over the last 30 years, where Quality standards of products have been  transformed but the technology more complex .

Us old buggers can remember the Wednesday cars etc.

However, there is no need for crap CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Interesting comparison pattern : Child better than parent.

Skoda / VW

or

Why would they bother. It works for every other industry.

Get people in take their money, get them on a finance deal or preferably a PCP that locks them to one manufacturer then wring 'em dry for servicing and spend as little on keeping them happy as possible. They're not going anywhere so who gives a **** if they're unhappy.
