New Owner

GDay. I'm a new Skoda owner from Australia (Oz).

I recently purchased a Moon White Yeti DSG 4x4 130 Tdi to replace a 10 yr old (200,000K) Nissan X Trail. Compared the new X Trail, Subaru Forester, Mazda CX5 and VW Tiguan before deciding on the Skoda; despite Skoda not being a big seller in Oz and having a regrettable history from the 60s. But reviews were excellent.

I have completed 2000k in the past 2 weeks (easy to do in Oz) and checked out all the car has to offer. I am not disappointed. Handling, fuel economy, comfort and operability are all top class.  Plenty of heads turning as the car is a rarity on the roads down-under. Oh, and the panoramic roof is a marvel in the land of sunshine; drop the DSG into Sports mode and watch out for the Law.

Remember all you Northern types, 'Winter is Coming', I'm off to the beach!!
