Hi

new to the group.i was wondering if any one could help.

I have a Fabia 1.4 mpi

 

the temperature light comes on as soon as i put the key in the ignition and stay on all the time.

the oil light comes on  after 5 minutes of driving(i have checked oil level etc its all fine). no idea why they are on but the bleeping is doing my head in now.

and one more thing my radio is not  working properly. it wont stay on and when it is on it only comes out of 1 speaker at a time(but now it wont come on at all)and keeps losing signal, its probably just the wiring but cant find any anywhere.

Does your battery light appear when you turn the key in the ignition? 

1) Is the temperature light steady or flashing, and red or amber?

 

2) Is the oil light red or amber?

 

3) I'm by no means certain about this, but I'd start by checking the door loom connections and continuity.

yes the battery light apears but goes out almost straight away

both the temperature and oil light are red and flashing

the temperature light is on all the time but the oil light comes after 5 minutes of driving. i have no idea what it can be and its driving me crazy

For the oil pressure warning, check whether the switch is leaking oil, guide here that will show you where to find it. If it is leaking, replace it. Even if it isn't, you might as well replace it, they're cheap.

Replace the oil pressure sensor and the coolant tank.

3rded; just wanted to make sure the sensors were doing what I expected first.
