Hi has any 1 ever dealt with these or know the ins and outs of ordering from germany.

been looking for this kit for a while but the price has always put me off, but with these its something like £422 including delivery.

my car is a 08 vrs diesel will I need the 50mm or 55mm strut I'm also guessing i'll require the 1s with a heavier axle load.

You will​ need the 55mm struts.

tempted to take a road trip over there, its 10 hour drive from calais and could always visit nurburgring on way or way back.  Any 1 fancy it, slightly far fetched maybe but be an awesome road trip.

Magic, how would you describe both the good and bad differences with this setup?

Is this set up a genuine 30mm? Or is it 20 after the already 10mm on vrs

It should be minus 30mm to an original (non VRS) Octavia. So the VRS will be approx 15mm lower than original.

 

I never drove this setup, I did have a H&R cup setup. This should have been a little harder than the Eibachs used in the mentioned B12 kit.

The immediate difference that one feels is the rebound in the dampers, this makes the car much beter to drive despite the harder springs.

Especially short bumps dont make the car crash that hard anymore, because the rebound is dampened too. (the original dampers hardly have rebound, if at all).

I found the ride firm but still very or even more comfortable. Better than with the original setup.

 

But it is already a long time ago, that I had my pre FL VRS.
