Feeler - PD130 Dbilas cam/tappets/uprated exhaust valves

Featured Replies

Just a feeler at the moment.

The mongrel is getting a completely new head, so I am offering potential performance parts from my old head.  Currently head is complete and as its cracked, I am thinking of leaving assembled (mainly so cam and matching lobes to cappet order retained)

Cam was visually inspected and was fine but I decided to shell out on NPSheads serious lift cam.  The cam I have is Dbilas one - I believe it;s the "street" one but on a decent built head gives nice upper rev range capability.  The head has been ported (twice) but is clearly nothing more than a guide as to what you might be able to take out ports, etc.

Tappets have not been all checked but they have done the same roughly 50,000 miles as the cam.  They were black topped ones bought from TPS on the last head rebuild done in approx late 2009 early 2010.

There are also 4 uprated exhaust valves installed (stock inlets) and these could in theory be removed and re-seated into a machined head to suit.  (Technicalities of this are not known to me to be honest :))

As for price, I am proposing £200 including delivery and I will simply courier the whole head as it is currently. :)

Pics will follow most likely when the engine is built back up next week.

For now, here's some rebuild pics from it's last time being put together :D
