I saw on old episode of Clarksons Motorworld i think it was. I think it was the year 2000 it the latest possibly the 90's. Anyway, he talked about the Lotus Sunbeam and a Vauxhall Chevette. But he said there have been 3 hot hatches that have been any good:

1) Golf 1 GTI.

2) Pug 205 GTI 1.9.

3) Escort Cosworth.

Anyone agree or disagree with those choices

All 3 were the daddies in thier day. Would rather have the Sumbeam or the Chevette though. Awsome cars in the day. Proper homologation specials.
