OUTSIDE TEMP SENSOR ! Incorrect temp even after replacement

Hi all, recently replaced the outside temp sensor due to silly readings on the dash display, ie - 3.5c on a hot sunny day ! and other similar readings. I replaced with a propitiatory make (Delphi) which I believe are the oem suppliers same part number etc all looked good after first fit, for about 10 mins next time I turned the ignition on yes you guessed incorrect temp showing...DOH ! Anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing this problem.

Possibly a problem wit the control module the temp sensor sends it's information to vcds will tell all

Hi, I want to upgrade the screen in my octavia to 5E0919605N. I know you can plug this in and it will work but that the app button wont unless i upgrade to 3.x.x which I cant. I was wondering has anyone used any online services to remove the CP as I can source the screen and unit in the glovebox for a really good price from a breaks locally but there isn't many places in Ireland that offer retro fit services. any information would be great

Managed to retrofit the a reverse camera to my Scala the other day, cost just under £50 with delivery from Aliexpress. No coding required, worked straight away when selecting reverse gear. Most difficult part was removing the old handle and feeding the wire through the rubber conductor in to the boot. I’ve added some photos which may help anyone else attempting to do this. We were lowering the passenger front window which went all the way to the bottom, accompanied by a horrible clattering. That was it stuck down, any attempts to raise it just produced the rattling. Luckily it was in the middle of a heatwave. Took the door card off and motor but can only lift the window up 2" to try to get to the clamps. There's a cable with a nipple visible loose inside the door by the locking button which is draped over a pulley (see photo, sorry about the socks). Any suggesti

Hi everyone, I am looking for some insight regarding a fueling issue on my Skoda Octavia 3 RS (2.0 TSI, EA888 Gen 3, CHHA engine, 169kW). The car is currently running an APR Stage 2 tune (ECU + TCU). The issue first appeared right after flashing APR Stage 1 at around 74k km, and now at 86k km, it has become more frequent (sometimes 3x a day, sometimes it gives peace for 2 weeks).
