Hi I have just finished fitting a seatsport style front mount intercooler and egr delete. All seemed fine until I started the engine and had a engine management light on and traction control.any ideas what this could be. Also when driving seems a lack of power aswell

Where did you put the MAP sensor?

In the pipe that had the map sensor hole in as was hard pipes

Has your car been mapped? The EML could be down to the EGR delete unless it was on previously and was mapped out.

No not been mapped yet but i would be still be expecting some sort of boost being produced though. Wouldn't I??

Have you sorted the vaccum pipes? 2x need blanking. Not so sure why you would get traction error? Have you got vcds?

I've blanked one as got told 1 needed to could feel vacuum coming from it but other one wasn't doing anything so left it unblocked and no I don't have vcds.

is your Fab a VRS?

 

I think you should block off both. 

 

And if you can try and either get access to someone with vcds or look into getting it, you can download for free just need a cable and a laptop. Either way you might need to remove error codes that have been stored, and its a guessing game really in regards to the traction issue. Its normal for the EGR delete to flash dash light, it needs deleting via a map, you can ignore it, car will be fine.
