Anyone else have this, I've been living with it forever to be honest as its the only thing my car ever shows up as errors (good old car)

 

But worth doing anything about, since on cold the aircon is nice and cold (had it serviced late 2014 too) and it does hot too. Maybe its not just as sensitive as it can be, but I've not noticed anything in terms of a air problem to be honest

 

Worth doing anything about long term or just continue to ignore ?

I thought this was the recirculation flap which doesn't have anything to do with the air con (unless it closes when it's on???)

Think it means the motor isn't working and from the very little I've read (not had reason to) it's a pig of a job.

Others will no doubt be able to provide better info.

Sorry not directly related to air con itself, but part of the air system obviously (hence could impact on the quality of aircon cooling but doesnt seem to have ).

 

I'm not sure hence if it may be stuck open hence the recirc button isn't doing anything perhaps ?

Has no effect other than you not being able to switch to recirculation mode.

My Polo has this fault. CBA to fix it as I virtually never want recirculation mode, so I don't miss not having it available.
