I have had my Skoda Octavia greenline with the Bolero unit fitted for a week. It was built on 22 June and I was told it would have the new SmartLink system in the unit. Well the good news is yes it has SmartLink installed but there are no activation codes available in the United Kingdom. My dealer has been very helpful and is going to notify me as soon as codes are available. Due to this damn change over period to the new Bolero unit the option to have SmartLink activated was not available on the computer when I ordered the car. he tells me today that an system upgrade now allows the order for the code to be input on order of a new car and so it will come activated.

I have the exact same issue. Although I am located in Denmark. Dealers are in the dark when they will be able to sell activation codes.
