Running new Skoda Superb Style for past two weeks

Featured Replies

I took delivery of 150 bhp style two weeks ago in Business Grey (pics to follow). It came with electric boot and blinds on rear and back window, otherwise standard spec. In my two weeks of running I have found it really great. I traded in from an Audi A6 and I find the Superb, for me, to be the better car. The 150 bhp engine has plenty of power when needed and is quiet and very economical. As usual huge space in the back seats. I got a great deal on the car when trading in, The blinds and electric boot are extras in Ireland but my dealer took the hit on their cost as they came with the car before he even saw it!

Down sides - I find the usb attachment for the phone in the front ashtray is too small to accommodate my Iphone properly. I think it would have been neater in the glove box or box between the the front seats.

Otherwise I am extremely happy with the car. More updates to follow as I get more driving time in the car

Thanks senna4 - you must be one of the first owners - congratulations! Please would you tell us more about the iphone / usb issue and perhaps post some pics of the problem?

Thanks for the info on ownership experience, although there is a 2.0 TDI 150 and a 1.4 TSI ACT 150. I'm assuming it is the diesel that you have but would be good to know for certain :)

Hows the fuel economy going?

Don't think the 150bhp petrol is available in Ireland, its just the 125bhp in base trim.

Yes it is a diesel and I can confirm it is the 150 bhp Style version in Business Grey with Beige Leather interior.

Congratulations on your new car. A lovely colour combination.

I test drove a 1.6 Style yesterday with the same extras. It was Quartz grey, but wasn't impressed with the dark interior.
