Just had a look at my spare wheel for the wheel size and it's a 14" saver wheel not a 15" wheel like my other tyres. Does this mean I can fit 14" winter tyres with 14" steel wheels?.

There is no reason why you can't fit 14". The spacesaver spare is an irrelevance. Any of the wheels fitted to any Citigo can be fitted to another model Citigo as all the wheel/tyre combinations fitted as standard have the same circumference.

Sorry to add to the winter tyre saga but looking for advice too. Would it be ok to fit 13" steel wheels 175 70 13 ? Just looking around as want to remove alloys and put winter wheels on. Struggling to find a full set at a decent price.

Those 13" tyres are slightly smaller than the standard tyres, but not enough to worry about. It is unlikely the disk size will cause a problem but you do need the right ET wheels and even if that's right you need to physically check that nothing will foul on full lock.

I've not managed to find any 14" wheels with the correct ET other than those specifically for the Citigo/ up etc. The big problem is the 4 stud fitting. I've not looked into 13" at all. If anyone knows different on 14" wheels it would be good to know.

Thanks for your advice Peter I've been looking for days. It's likely I will just leave the alloys on but if I find anything else I'll let you know.

How about these, should fit a CitiGo, Mll and an UP.  They even fit the Yorkshire version of the VW, The " Aye Up "
