Hiya guys and gals. Seeking some advice for my girlfriends car. Every morning she gets in the car, starts it up, the battery symbol flashes and beeps at her.

Until she revs the car. So she revs it slightly and it turns off.

Then when she lets off and leaves it to idle, it comes back and keeps beeping.

I noticed there was no braid earthing the block to the chassis, so done that and seemed to fix it for a couple days but now it's back with a vengeance :(

Battery is brand new and so is alternator.

Any idea's?

Oh good god lol. The problem is the alternator load wire for sure, I never got round to fixing it. Also did you fix the coolant level beep? It had a new bottle just before I sold it but some crud got on the sensor and set the alarm off. Theres no problem with it but it is annoying. Just needs the bottle cleaning out inside. On the plus side it had a new engine put in with only 70k miles.

Wasn't the load wire in the end. Bought a second hand alternator for £24.50 on eBay with free p&p.

Sorted and yeah was the first thing we done along with mot costing £300
