Motoring: Mazda 3 SkyActive Tuning Packages from BBR

Leading Mazda performance specialist BBR is pleased to unveil two stages of engine performance upgrades for the 2.0-litre Skyactiv-G versions of the Mazda 3.

Representing the culmination of eleven months of intensive in-house development, BBR’s 2.0-Skyactiv-G tuning program has successfully removed the key electronic and mechanical restrictions on 120, 145 and 165 PS models of the Mazda 3 / 6, CX-3 and CX-5, releasing the full potential of the new direct-injection powerplant. BBR’s testing program revealed that these versions of the 2.0-litre Skyactiv-G are identical mechanically, meaning that both stages of upgrade suit all power variants.
