What Can I Use On My New Coilovers To Stop Them Seizing? HELP

Featured Replies

Just got myself a set of coilovers much deserved! :notme:

ready to fit them just wanted to know what can i put on the collars to stop them seizing up..?

copper grease? silicone based grease?

help would be much appreciated!

Copper grease is the usual choice I believe

I use electrical tape in the threads to stop grit and dirt getting in. That way when you next adjust them you can just pull the electrical tape of and they are like new.

has that worked for u? how easy was it to adjust next time around..

Yeah it's worked for me. The tape stops a lot of crap getting into the threads, Grease just attracts dirt and grit in my experience.

I use clear spray grease. Works fine
