Hi ave heard a lot about this PCV valve the trouble am having is finding it or even what it looks like.

This am talking about is on a 1.9 PD BXE engine code if someone could point me in the right direction on where abouts this is and maybe some pics would realy help me many thanks.

On the petrol 2L TSI engine you can't miss it. Pull the cover off and it's there on the top.

I have no idea if the diesel is the same however.

Gases that leak from the cyclinders into the crank case will mix with oil causing the oil to clog up and be less efficient.  The gases are instead recirculated back up into the inlet to reburned so less unburned fuel vapour enters the crankcase.
