Any guys on here know how to map a popcorn limiter onto an ecu, i fancy doing it myself ive got the hardware so thats not an issue

A dirty diesel trying to pop and bang like a tuned petrol turbo engine,sounds crap from a derv imo.

I tried the hard cut limiter on mine,but when I hit it a couple of times it's so harsh it feels like your going to damage something,that was whilst driving though not sitting in Mcd's car park revving it up..........

I soon got john to swap mine over to a soft cut limiter

I have a popcorn limiter on mine, ws on it when I bought the car.

Is it chav, yes a bit. But It can be fun at times.

You must have a huge turbo on to be building power anywhere near the limiter.

Alright i knew id get some abuse haha, i wanted to have a go at mapping one in im not fussed about sitting at the local tesco making diesel noises! i wanted to have a go at mapping launch control as well just to try it

If you want to get away quick, stick it in 2nd and slip the clutch a bit.

I quite like the hard cut limiter on mine......

I still have over 200bhp at the limiter.

Hit the popcorn limiter almost every time i drive the Fabia lol

I actually hit it in the town centre last night the noise and smoke soon cleared the the drunk idiots standing in the middle of the road lol.

Popcorn.

 

Mines set a bit low down at 4k atm, need it raised soon about to 4.5k at least
