Ex demo's already for sale

Wow!

That L&K is about £1,800 off the new-car-discount new price. The fact that one could just drive it away makes it vaguely attractive.

The SE-L at the other garage is way off-beam in pricing (despite all the options).

That L+K would be a series II though. Look at the BHP, you can't get a 170 in the series III.

Ah yes! Just because it's 2015 doesn't mean it's the latest model ;-)

A couple of those are '65 plates.

Why do they make a song and dance about the hatches having a rear wiper? It's surely not an option is it?

Yes it’s a no cost option.

Personally I prefer the looks without the wiper.

Note they are 13 days old with ‘5,000 miles’ on the clock, so I guess these will not be available for a couple of months at the earliest! (as most dealers advertise their demo’s before they are ready to / can sell them)

I wonder what difference rear wipers make to fuel economy?

They are available from the 19th September, the day after the official launch date.

Surely worth a buy just so you can get your name in as number 2 on the owners register !

There seems to be quite a few ex-demos already for sale

Just been on the Used car section of main Skoda website, ticked Superb and then changed the search order to Age (newest first) and 25 came up.

With one exception all the ones being offloaded are diesels, seeing as it has only been on sale a couple of weeks, is this a reflection of quickly dumping models that use the 1.6 and 2.0 diesel (which due to emissions scandal have the potential to become unsaleable except with a hefty discount)

Surely the diesel : petrol ratio shouldn't be 24 : 1    perhaps petrol ones are selling easily hence lack of ones offered.

Are you sure they are MKIII as they could be shifting MKIIs quickly?.....

No. I think you will find that nearly all the Dealer demos were diesel simple as that. I think you will also find that the majority are not yet available ....

On the premise that the majority would be destined for high mileage users / fleet / company car etc?

Yeah I would go with that. We all know that diesel is currently the vogue.... Currently :-)
