auto front window up function on Fabia MK1?

Featured Replies

Hi, Guys,

I wonder if there is a way to make the two front electrical window automatically go up when i pull out my key? is there any setting setting i can set through VCDS ? Because sometimes, i forgot to fully moving up the windows in the front. i know it's not a good habit but it just happens sometime.

Thanks a lot.

Not sure on auto close when the key is removed from the ignition.

I know if you put the key in the door and turn the key to lock the door and hold it in the lock position the Windows will all close. Same story for opening but obviously the windows open for unlock.

On the Fabia MK1 and Octavia MK1 it is a key in the door only function and not available on the remote.

There is nothing to code in VCDS, the control module simply does not support auto close from the remote or key removal from the ignition. Using an external third party controller it is possible to get auto close when you lock the car, but that is the best you will do. Some third party alarm systems support auto close, otherwise you'll need to scour ebay for an Alientech controller. The Alientech has been out of production for many years, so you'll need to find a second hand one.

Look at Robclubleys webpage below on the Alientech controller.

It's a Vag function for up and down with the key. Don't know if it can be programmed into the fob to make it work that way.

This should be pretty close to the subject.
