In summary, it is probably due to a dry joint around the voltage regulator(s) on the printed circuit board.

Temporary fix may be had by removing a fuse if you are lucky, just to get you through the nct.

 

Somewhere on here is a very good guide to taking out the cluster and repairing the pcb.
