Multiple iPhone connection via bluetooth

Featured Replies

I have been able to successfully connect both my own and my wife's iPhone successfully. However it will not automatically select the phone when you get in the car and will only auto connect to the last phone that we connected. You can search for the other phone but it is a slow process before it finds it and not user friendly. Have I missed a setting somewhere?

Not really, it does that so that if both phones received an incoming call at the same time, one would get priority, both phones couldn't work over the same Bluetooth connection.

I had both on my Audi and you selected which one you wanted. I understand I can only have one at a time but if I get in the car and she was in their last it still looks for hers rather than automatically connecting to mine.

Trying to make head or tail of the manual online. It would appear that you can have two phones set up. A primary and secondary phone. I will sit in the car with the manual and both phones later today and see what I can do. I could do with a duffers guide but I am sure with patience it will eventually get done. The manual does not appear very intuitive.

Well are totally confusing myself with the manual I took both phones out to the car. It auto connected to the wife's. I presses settings and it gave me the option of a primary and secondary phone. Now if both are in the car I can just select which one I want. I am not sure but I think I can receive incoming calls on both and choose which one to answer. Not two calls at the same time but it dies what I need. I am sure this will apply tonal Bluetooth phones and not just iPhones.
