Hi,  I'm told my air conditioning compressor has given up...I can see it but can get to the part number on the unit itself.  Having searched the interwebs there seems to be a lot of revisions....would you know online where I can find which revision works for my car?

6Q0820803  this seems to be the part number but there are various suffix, like D, G and P.

X, 2000 1.4 elegance hatch, engine code AUB

6Q0820808F seems to be suggested here. But there may well be several (usable) versions that have been superseded on the way to that part number.
