190 bhp TDI

Featured Replies

Who has ordered the 190 bhp TDI? I don't recall many so keen to know I'm not alone.

I've not had chance to drive one so if any one has experience of it can you share please?

I have currently got the mk2 VRs oil burner 170bhp and didn't want to lose that acceleration. In fact superb 190 is marginally quicker.

I get about 42mpg on average now across a 20 mile trip (each way) across 10 mile of city driving and 10 mile motorway. I'm hoping the superb will give me similar.

I have ordered a 190 DSG.

The demo I drove was apparently a 190 (dealer thought it was a 150 at the time... and I didn't check for an adblue cap)

It went well enough, not 'quick' but then neither was my 170 Superb.... BUT it was much better after the remap!

I have ordered the 190 DSG 4x4 to replace the MKII 170 DSG 4x4 so I am expecting another 10%. MKII went quick when the 4x4 kicked in....

Sorry forgot to add I used to get average of 42.3mpg on cumulative total for 170 MKII....
