I have just ordered a 220 tsi sel exec estate in silver. I have added paddles and spare wheel. I am now thinking of the colour maxidot trip. Does anyone have any knowledge of the difference and whether it's worth it? Hello by the way this is my first post

I would specify the 'Travel Assist' with the colour maxi dot and you will get a display of the current speed limit in the centre of the console (assuming the camera has had sight of a speed restriction sign).

 

Personally I think that display must be more effective in colour, worth the money although it should be standard equipment, imho.

Welcome Neilmonstermell1 cannot help you on the Maxi DOT other than say there was a similar ask on the Octavia forum.

 

Be prepared for the onslaught of requests for discount though as your comment is not specific....

I agree, best to ask who doesn't want to know about discount.....or just tell, it'll be our secret

Basic price with options and 2k contribution £25372. Full tank of fuel and set of mats. Brilliant silver colour. I drove the l and k and was not told about the colour trip display so will have to go back and compare the two. They now have a grey sel exec in.

Maybe you've left some details out, but sounds quite pricey to me? Compared to NCD, that is.

What's ncd. Sorry new here. On the road price was nearly 29k.

ncd is a broker new car discount, best deal is usually 12% off on finance

Does not work out any cheaper because the finance is double the rate. Then if you read the small print i would have to add metallic paint cost, paddle cost and spare wheel cost.

Doh! Hadn't made the connection between paddles and DSG! But your extras list is positively frugal compared to some around here ;-)
