The missus has decided that she wants to be able to connect her phone into the factory headunit to play music.

The two Connects2 models I've looked at have a changeover year of 2005, and I can't quite see how either fits into the only unused connector on the back. Here's the head unit:

 

 

And this is the only available socket on the back:

 

 

There's no CD changer in the car.

 

The pictures on Connects2 site of the CTVSKX001 and 003 don't make it clear to me that either will work?

 

Can someone unconfuse me please?

Hang on, does the blue 8-way connector from the Connects2 fit up at the left-hand end of the big black socket? Is that what I was missing? :think:

Yeah that's right, the big empty plug you've shown actually takes 3 plugs for different things. Blue, yellow and green plugs. Blue is for aux out which you will use, yellow is for audio outs (sub and amp etc) and green is for phone I think?

But yeah, it will fit and just slot into the empty space.

That blue plug looks exactly the same as mine yeah, maybe wait and see which model other people have bought to be extra sure?
