From a link on this site (Longlife) I have been quoted

:x

I contacted Longlife for a system for my V6 2.6 Vectra.

They gave a competative quote but were unable to fit me in at the main office near Bath, but sugested that I contact their Sheffield Franchise (12 Miles from me). Great I thought, just what I needed.

So I duly parted company with

Adoks,

If the above has put you off, Forge have the Milltek cat back in stock at

I can thoroughly recommend the Miltek system - more responsive and throaty but not too noisy

i'm pretty keen on my miltek too. ( catback - jon's is the full system )

MIltek do not seem to specifically list a system for the 1.8T SLx (not an RS) so assume it will not clear the rear valance. All comments welcome I do not want to replace my OEM system with standard mild steel and the car is now over three years old, with original system.

I'm terribly sorry, I assumed you had a RS.

In which case I can highly recommend the Sebring system, quite a deep note not overly loud, in a word, nice. Ian heard mine when I had the Sebring on it, so maybe he'll comment. It was an exhaust for a Skoda 1.8T hatch and exited under the bumper. Other makes include Supersprint who also do one for you. One piece of advice though, make sure it is for your model - the one I had was for a 1.8T, not the RS and missed the slot completely!

For stuff up your way (well they are north of the Watford gap ;) ) try Star Performance http://www.starperformance.co.uk. In all honesty they are based in Glenrothes I think, so just down the road really, well, 45 miles anyway. :D
