I can't find a way to change the volume of radio traffic reports (TP).

According to the manual, the first three options in the volume settings menu should be:

Traffic reports

Navigation announcements

Voice control

...

I just have:

Announcements

Voice control

...

I presume the "Navigation announcements" only appears if you have Amundsen, which I don't. But what is "Announcements" and what's happened to "Traffic reports"?

What options do you have on your radio? Have the options changed because I have SmartLink? How can I change the traffic report volume?

On my Amundsen The first menu item is 'Announcements' followed by 'Navigation Announcements.'

Its Announcements that does it.

Whatever you set that to will be the actual volume level used when they cut in.

By default they are set very low so will probably come on quieter than your current audio source.

The announcements volume setting doesn't appear to affect my traffic news volume. It's difficult to test though because I don't use the car regularly enough and you need to wait for a traffic announcement.

Do you need TP turned on to see the option to adjust the default volume?

I just adjust the volume when they announce, it then saves it.

I always have traffic programme enabled, partly because it's much harder to turn on and off than on other radios I've used. I turn the volume down every time a traffic bulletin is broadcast but it doesn't seem to remember it.
