Probably going to put in an order for a 2.0 TDi CR SE Business DSG Estate (long name!)

 

The options I'm thinking about are heated front seats and SmartLink. Although I'm not entirely sure what I can do with SmartLink? The SE Business has sat-nav so I won't need it for that - what else do people use it for?

 

Any other options that are "must haves"?

 

Also can't decide whether I need a spare wheel or not. It has been about 12 years since I last used one despite carrying one about that whole time!

I would go for Park Assist and front parking sensors.

I have just traded my 2011 Leon FR170 for an Octavia Scout. I really miss the front sensors for parking. I have tried some vehicles with Park Assist this would be useful also.

Xenon headlights are a nice addition, had them on the Leon, Skoda Halogen headlights are poor!

Well I'm two weeks in to owning a SEL spec. Upgrades for me was the spare wheel, heated front windscreen and front seats. Skoda messed up my order and put in heated rear seats, that I didn't ask for. So that was a nice bonus. This spec level is as good as my Mondeo Titanium X I traded in.

This doesn't really answer your question, but there is now also a VRS version of a 4x4 diesel which comes with quite a lot of kit and may be of interest.
