If anyone has fitted an aftermarket dump valve?

Featured Replies

Have you the original kicking around?

Mine has a Forge one which I wish to dispose of and go standard,

If so, let me know!

You'd be better changing the title of the thread. It's a bit misleading. Stock valves shouldn't be too expensive. Try a scrap yard if you're strapped for cash.

Why do you Anna change?

Stock new ones are only £35 or so. Plenty on ebay too

Thanks guys, I'll try TPS.

Angel Tuning who mapped my old car had a tinker with a few things, (found an old map on there that was tuned for torque and same BHP or thereabouts) and stated that the valve was opening prematurely.

Stated that the standard one was best for standard or the usual 220 BHP tune.

Also, I could do without the psssh at every gearchange!

fair enuff think ill keep my standard one then!!

I have a couple if you cover postage i'll send you one, i'll check garage tonight but sure i kept them
