With any luck our new Octavia Mk 3 L&K estate should arrive next week. Can anyone recommend some really good quality fitted floor mats - heavyweight, preferably with a driver's rubber heel insert and without those ineffective screw-down thingamajigs that always wear loose or come apart? Not sure what colour the L&K carpets are (the upholstery is brown alcantara) but I'd obviously like the mats to match.

Does it not come with mats? Top of the range car and no mats?! My vRS came with mats.

I've mk3 L&K limo. Carpets are black as are door panels and pockets etc. I got the standard Skoda ones with my car and wore a hole through the drivers one in about 9 months. I had a loan car this week with the slightly heavier Skoda mats with Octavian written on them. Had a good look but didn't think they were much thicker and would last as long as I wanted.

I've just put in a set from kicks garage.com which were 24 euro plus delivery and I'm delighted with them. Excellent carpet match and drivers mat has a carpet heel pad and all made have heavy rough rubber backing. Ones I wore through were 44 euro for a new set alone so I'm very pleased. They fit the clips perfectly and everything.
