Adjustable Suspension

Featured Replies

Can you set up coil overs to be as compliant and as comfortable as the stock suspension? I've just left behind a lowered Impreza and I am enjoying having some ride quality back, but I'm looking for something stiffer for track days.

Thanks

Steve

Yeah near enough

The H+R coil overs we do I think are adjustable and Ive driven a few cars with them and they aint to tough.

If you're looking just for adjustable height then go for KW2 but if you also want to play with the bump and rebound as well height then KW3.

Check out the links page for Impreziv. KW2 approx.

steve what about a couple of big bags of sand in the boot make the car nice and stiff for trackdays and then you could whip them out to go shopping!:D :D

Steve,

KW Variant 3, no question.

I have tried:

H&R

Koni

Leda

KW

The KWs are by far the best of the lot, in my humble opinion. Most of the serious trackday/event type drivers on here use them over all others. Trouble with the H&R/Koni is they are optimised for the Mark IV Golf which has different corner weightings which can lead to "peculiarities" and more importantly, blown dampers.

Send a PM to Paul (ffelan) or Colin (ColinD) as they are your nearest members with KWs on. Or come out with me at Dono in November. We can do a little tour at lunchtime and then you can see how they do on track as well.
